Domestic Duties

Tues 6 October… Just a boring day at the office today---it has to happen now and again. The van was in desperate need of a wash after our last week in the bush, it was caked in red sand. It’s had a good scrub but we left the inside for a rainy day when we might have a flick round with a duster.
We got some emailing done, even Peter did some one fingered wizardry with his dextrous digit. Emailed Sheldon Bosley with our final options but we don’t hold out much hope. They have asked us when we are thinking of coming home when they already have that info from emails we sent them earlier. First when we realised our visa had been extended that was earlier in the year, and the last email with that info in July. Maybe we should send them the blog every day as well!
Now that there are no children here we have made good use of their swimming pool (Nomads have their own) this afternoon and hogged the water slide! No photos to follow! We were having great fun but got spotted by a couple of Nomads, not sure if they approved of a couple of aging juveniles playing on the children’s slide--------Bugger them!!

  1. Enjoy...fun is for everyone...even those over 35 !!Vicky Wallens emailed Friday and said she noticed your house was for rent again.Good luck with the tenants...I think the locals(Australia wide) would very much miss your antics...and I am sure one James Cook would be very proud of you present day explorers discovering places not seen by present day citizens who most likely have seen nowhere near as much as you both of their own country, including this little blog commenter.Would have loved to have caught up with you before you retunn to the Old Dart, however,if the renting doesn't happen soon in Newbold I will have to get back over there. Will need to confer with the children first naturally. Thanks again for the tour and I didn't need to move off my chair.Talk to you later.
