More frustration with the internet

Sun 13 September… Yesterday we booked another night here as we were getting on reasonably well with the internet connection, a good opportunity to get up to date with everything we thought. Wouldn’t you just know it, the system as good as crashed last night and we spent nearly a couple of hours getting virtually nowhere. 3 times we wrote and rewrote 1 email with a picture only for it to disappear each time. We tried again this morning with no luck, and eventually got it away by going into Townsville and using an internet café. We are suppose to be paying for the internet here but they don’t charge, probably because they know it’s a poor service.
There was a market it the centre of town this morning, mostly arty-farty crafts but there were a couple of veg stalls where we could have bought 3 pineapples for $4 (£2)----we settled for 1 and some tomatoes. Apart from the internet café we found a book exchange shop and did a few swaps. Lunch on the beach followed by a swim, then it was time for an A B B. before we struggle with this shiny thing again this evening.
