An odds and sods day, washing etc. Put the antinastybug screen again, and at the time of going to pres it was still up! Jane had her hair cut by some myopic , absentminded holiday maker, 6 caravans away, good job nobody knows her!!
Visited the port here in Broome and walked the jetty before returning to do the washing again. It came out of the machine dirtier than when it went in!

It seems whenever something crops up and bites us in the bum you can guarantee H S B C are involved. HS B C have changed the way we internet bank, as we probably all know, we now need a secret gismo to access our accounts. Our gismo was posted to Broome Post Office nearly 2 weeks ago, and guess what ------it is still lurking about somewhere in the postal system. We can’t leave Broome until it arrives and if it doesn’t arrive in the next 8 days we will not be able to do our banking. O K it’s not strictly H S BC’s fault, but it’s their change of system that has caused the problem. We are desperate to get out of camp Benidorm and back on the road but it is not looking good.

The good news is we are leaving camp Benidorm tomorrow. The not so good news is we are moving back down the road 1K to Palm Grove caravan park opposite the Divers Tavern for a couple of nights. The bad news is, no sign of the H S B C Gismo’s “ could take anything up to a month” they said at the Post Office. Why? we said ----because they could be stuck in quarantine, they said. What a joke They are gismo's not cattle!
The idea of travelling is, we are in control, we stay, move when we decide , right now we are stuck. I must say though, there are worse places than Broome to get becalmed. As busy as it is, it’s a lovely place ( apart from camp Benidorm and Tarangua)
The surf at Cable beach for the last couple of days has been tremendous, waves up to 2m and great fun. The weather is sublime 30/32C every day and pleasant cool evenings. As The Clash said “ Should I stay or should I go”
