A day on Rainbow Beach

Wed 19 August… Not exactly an action packed day today as the wind has dropped and it was a fit day for lazing on the beach. It was still a bit breezy but not as strong as yesterday. We are just a bit out with the tides as low tide was at 1 o’clock, lunchtime. This means that apart from the tide being a good way out the sea is comparatively calm, no big waves and not good for surf boarding. Tomorrow low tide will be that much later so we may get some reasonable surf mid-morning Later this afternoon we finalised where we are all going to be staying for the next few days before Vanessa and the boys head home.
