In Transit

Sunday bit of a hangover this am for some unknown reason though we are trying to drink our wine cellar before we go to New Zealand in case it goes off while we are away! warm start to the day and as the van has to be photographed before going into storage, we thought P R had better wash it. he's very glad that it's not any bigger!
Took a drive to the airport to book a hotel for tomorrow night. We need to be close by aswe have an early flight Tues morning. There's a hotel right opposite called the Hilton so While jane went to book us in PR sat outside in the van in a parking spot reserved for V I Ps. Some snotty nosed security attendant tried to move him on but after speaking in his best Mancunian he let him have 10 minutes.
Chanced our arm in a shopping mall on the way back but as we only wanted a newspaper we managed not to get lost. Back at transit camp1(handy for the airport) it has got quite hot so a dip in the nearly olympic size swimming pool is called for. 4 or 5 kids are playing in it so we have to wait for 2 to get out before we can get in. It's a very nice pool. Packed our bags for our N Z trip, not taking a lot as we think we will probably only have a small van. So as we are pretty much up to date, time for tea!

  1. Ha Ha found you at last. Well what a Christmas we have all had the lurgi, so xmas banter at the heart was in a new language of cough wheeze and chuck. Oh joy, Brian had a nice surprise on xmas eve, made the mistake of going out alone during the day so I decorated his cottage which now resembles santas grotto. Ho ho ho. We had a shoot at Berryfields on Boxing day and discovered the hunt had been through so we did not have many birds but was a very sociable day enjoyed by all. Have a great time in New Zealand Happy new year to you both love Sue & Brian
