Checked in fairly painless at Melbourne and then cattle class for 3 hours. Arrived Auckland like a couple of lost sheep, where a very nice bus lady pointed us in the direction of tourist info desk where we get the undivided attention of a very nice young Asian lady called Vicky. Within an hour she has found us a campervan for a month, a hotel in the middle of the city and bus tickets to get us there. The van is to be delivered to us today. Seems the whole of New Zealand is on the move and there are virtually no vans available but after 8 phone calls she found us one. Our room in the hotel is on the 17th floor, quite small(bijou) but everything we need.After dumping our gear, head off for food and a couple of beers.
