The End

Wed 28 October… Our last day in Australia, tomorrow we are on our way home. We spent the morning re-packing and being ruthless with our belongings trying to make the weight of our baggage allowance. We have jettisoned so much as we reckon it may be some time before we need beach towels, sun block, mossie repellents and the like required for the tropics. We spent some time wandering around the wonderful town of Cairns today and have decided it is with Broome (WA) as our favourite towns. Tonight we had dinner with our new good friends Phil and Julie whose company we have enjoyed immensely. We will miss them and Australia and hope they will visit us in the UK sometime, otherwise we will have to track them down back here!
