Camperman Day

Mon 20 July… today is pick up the campervan day, Vanessa’s’ Robbie and Tobi’s little house on wheels for the next few weeks. We all traipsed of to camperman Australia depot out by the airport, then hung around for an hour or so whilst they got the van ready. Its not as though they didn’t know we were coming, it was just not very efficient. Eventually everything got sorted and we set off taking a different route to the way there, more navigational incompetance!! We travelled in convoy, only jumping one set of traffic lights, without too much trouble though Vanessa didn’t see it that way. Minor problems with window screen wipers and indicators! It was a bit of a white knuckle experience. A strange vehicle and a strange city.! The van is a bit care worn and has done a lot of miles but its got everything they need and shouldn’t take too long to get used too being a nomad.
